The Task
The operation is to use a VNA truck to navigate aisles and pick orders onto a shelf trolley that is on the forks. Due to the weight and nature of the picked goods, some of the shelfs were becoming damaged to we needed to provide something very robust for this project.
The Product
We started with the SLC800 product, but with many custom features. The trolley has three walls of mesh, towing bar and pin are removed, we have fitted enclosed forklift pockets, completely custom mesh construction shelves with removeable dividers and a rating of 250kg per shelf.
The Result
The final product is a very sturdy solution providing confidence when picking at height. The bespoke uprated mesh shelves allow the operator to get a visual of what is around them whilst the strength of the shelves provides longevity for years to come.
