The Task
The customer needed a durable product for picking components onto, protecting from the elements and lifting onto a truck to be transported from one site to another. The trolleys also needed to be towed outdoors on tarmac.
The Product
The starting point was our SLC800 Trolley with a customised spec to ensure longevity for the operation. We fitted the trolley with a 200mm outdoor castor, anti-slip rubber matted shelves and provided throw over tarpaulin covers. The SLC800 comes packed with features from standard such as forklift pockets, central footbrakes, grab handles and adjustable shelfs to enable it to be easily changed to suit the kit.
The Result
Trolleys are in frequent use and materials are picked on one site and delivered to their point of use with no double handling. This makes it easier for the operator to pick and fit the components without the need of non value burdens.
